The plusses in your Irish Pub in Marseille
Some don’t pay attention to them,
others come only for those plusses,
and many others have assimilated them as part of the humble landscape
of the first Irish Pub in Marseille, O’Brady’s.
They sometimes take time, sometimes patience, sometimes money,
and sometimes all of the above…
However they are our strength, our pride,
and they bring you what you unfortunately will find only rarely elsewhere.
Opening time at 11 am 361 days a year
(closed on Dec 24, 25, 31, and Jan 1).The Sainte Anne neighbourhood is a beautiful little village of Marseille, very lively during the day and very quiet at night time. You can find as many as 5 cash-points within a 75 meter radius around the pub.
Our nice little terrace with its wooden barrels and custom made canopy.
The fire burns during all winter in our fireplace, partly with peat coming especially from Ireland.
We have the longest wooden bar in Marseille (16 m).
It’s very easy to park: many parking lots around the pub. Because of its location, people come to the pub, they rarely just drop by. Thereby our clientele is self-selected and here you will virtually find only Ireland- and pub-lovers.
Food is available every day, lunchtime and night time (except Sat & Sun lunch).
At lunch, all coffees after the first one are on the house!
Our pint of water is served with loads of ice and a slice of lemon. Our pints are real ones (56.8 cl).
The gas system: we are one among very few places in France equipped with the same technology used in the pubs in Ireland:
CALORGAS SYSTEM. Thanks to this we can pull Guinness and Kilkenny with our own mix of carbon dioxide and nitrogen.
Feel free to organise a birthday party or something special,
we’re at your disposal. But don’t forget… no reservations.
If you play Irish music, come and join the Monday night session, you’ll get free Guinness.
Our operating hours are firm:
last orders at 1:30 am sharp.
The great diversity and flexibility of our TV programs (ask us to watch what you’d like to). The sound system is very powerful despite the low volume of the music. A huge choice of videos (about Ireland, Irish bands and musicians, GAA, Celtic FC, OM, sports in general…).
